80s Beyerdynamic M500 TG (=TG was for tour group, so more rugged grille and in black instead nickel) ribbon microphone. Frank Sinatras prefered live vocal mic, so it's said. Has the original ribbon, is in good condition, sounds good, the body looks a bit "spotty" - you'll notice the spots that are a bit more shiny than the rest of the shaft in my pics. My camera sucks, by the way.
This mic doesn't sound wooly like a number of other ribbons and it takes higher SPL than most (except, say, the Royer) which makes it nice across a wide range of applications - overhead (yes! dip a little between 3-5k and you're good to go and if you need condensers with extended, but smooth highs, be ready to spend a lot of money and they still don't got the "focus" of the M500), hihat, vocals, some guitars, percussion, horns, brass (pop filter and a little off axis, okay?)
The grill looks good, the mic hasn't been dropped :) I left the internal foam inside, but you can take it out if you want, that trades a bit more open-ness for being sensitive to air blasts (please don't try it on kick drums). Has been stored dry, so no corrosion on the magnet. Comes with a zippered Beyerdynamic pouch. For the M500 i'd like 180 €.

Beyerdynamic M69, not the old one, but a "TG" (=tour group) from the 80s. Considering that i count a mic from the 80s as "not old" you can see i am old. 'Tour group' meant that it has a black grille that's more sturdy than the one in the 70s, it has the humbucking coil. Read here:

It is a mic where you neither want extended high end nor lows which you would eq in the mix, if the mic had them in the first place. No fizzy mush on guitar cabs, no "burp"-rumble. Not the first mic if you want to record death metal, maybe. This mic is about midrange, but not in a honky way, rather in a "no need to tailor it in the mix". Backing vocals, percussion, horns, brass .. you get it. Comes with a zippered Beyerdynamic pouch. If i have to explain it i would say M88 with a lowcut.  For the M69 i'd like 80€.
