Howdy y'all, been a while since I posted; thought I'd share my latest finished project. I needed more input channels in a hurry, so rather than wait for PCBs I decided to use what I had on hand, hence a turret board 4x312 build.
Woodworking has turned me into a SketchUp addict (rapidly approaching TI-86, can't-think-without territory). I started by mocking everything up:
Made a drill template for repeatability (sorta):
After punching:
Turrets installed:
Finished guts. I can't remember the last time I used phantom or a pad, so it's just gain and polarity:
Input TXs were superglued in place. Not the prettiest:
I used the CAPI gain switch PCBs for easy wiring:
Pres in place in the input rack. I recently scored an old Dymo labeler...I've been going nuts with it:
