Hello everyone, here comes my first post!

I have couple of line out transformers taken from old PA-xovers. They have four equal windings, about 24 ohms dc each. A quick test proved that those could do well as a simple mic splitter, not necessarily a high-end but good enough to split vocal mics on rehearsal room recordings.
How should I deal with the windings? Just a simple one winding per side or should I connect two primaries series to reduce loading?

Another idea.

Normally the operation is splitter with three outputs on each channel.

On pressing the push button Out 2 & 3 on Channel A become Sum and Difference outputs.

Out 2 and 3 on Channel B are disabled.

Out 1 on both channels remain as direct outs.
