In the circles at the 3D Audio arena, the Buzz Ma2.2 is as highly regarded as the Great River ME-NV. In fact, of all of the high end, and most loved units out there, I think those two boxes are the most coveted.

A Great River ME-NV and a Buzz MA2.2 is the hot character/clean duo combo right now, assuming no budget limitations. The Buzz pre is supposed to be the fastest out there with a slew rate of like 150v/us.

The Buzz gear is extremely well built, Tim is a great guy, really knows his stuff. No BS. I have one of his preamps, use it all the time.
