Channels 4.2 (cozy TV), 5.2 (Antenna TV), and 5.3 (This TV) just stoped working 2 days ago on our cable.
These are my wife's favorite channels. They had been working for years. All the other point channels work.
I called the cable provider and after one hour, 3 people and a lot of B.S., I got this answer.
Long story short.
The cable company does not broadcast sub channels or the  point channels. (7.1, 7.2 7.3, etc)
These point channels are picked up by the cable that runs from the wall to the TV. In other words
the braided shielded, grounded co-axial cable acts as an antenna and picks up the analog signals outs of the air.
(just not these 3 channels) And that I need to go on the internet and read about this.
He's the floor supervisor of the tech (B.S.) dept. I can't believe it. Has anybody ever heard of this?
