So i'm a bit stumped, & need some carifcation on some basics.
I'm trying to perform the calibration procedure on handful of dominator II's.

I've been fine up until this section. (via tech document)
8.1.4 Shift Null
Repeat this procedure for each limiter. The sweep probe contains a 2K0 resistor. The sweep source is 0 to -10V ramp. The scope should be X-Y with X from the sweep source.

1. Turn input feed to OFF.
2. Monitor TP302 with scope.
3. Attach the sweep probe to VCA pin 9.
4. Adjust VR301, VR302, and VR303 for 0VDC offset and minimum shift.

What type of sweep signal is it asking for exactly? DC sweep? Is that saying I need to insert a 2K resistor in series with the output of the generator?

FYI - I have an X/Y oscilloscope, HP signal/function gen, & d-scope available.

"The sweep source is 0 to -10V ramp."

DC, obviously. There's no negative AC.
