hello,
I have  five Calrec CM654d mics (bought on ebay). It seems that originally this mic had its own psu, I don't have it. I have a din 3 pins adaptor that enables to soldier a normal xlr 3 pins.

what does correspond pins 1,2,3  at the output of the mic ? (gnd, unbal out, 48V)

I think I have to build a dedicated psu....

I've already made some searchs (found some infos in this forum, but no answer...)

If someone has a schematic (mic and psu), it'll be really a good help  ;) or any infos  :)

thank you, by advance

Fabien

Ah, I used to own some of these ... you are correct, they are unbalanced and have a separate wire for the 48v. You will have to either build a PSU or adapt an existing phantom supply with the right connections. Normal phantom XLR wiring will not work.

Pin 1 GND,
Pin 2, +48v
Pin 3 out.

The 654 is the low-cut version of the 652, with a bass roll-off for vocal use.

HTH,
