Forgive me for being really thick but I can't seem to understand the following...
The original Calrec had what seemed to be on/off switches for what I assume to be:
LF - HPF and Hi-Q/normal Q?
LMF - Hi-Q/normal Q?
HMF - Hi-Q/normal Q?
HF - LPF and Hi-Q/normal Q?
NGRecordings web site..
http://www.nrgrecording.de/html/calrec.html
Has what I assume to be versions of the original - but using toggle switches
The Gyraf ones use..
A 2 pole latching for the Hi Q setting
A 4 pole latching for the HPF, LPF and Bypass...
Just out of interest - why is there a 4 pole latching used - is this because multiple PCB tracks need to be switched in/out
Could this be solved by using a 2 pole and taking two leads of the contact..
because I want to use an illuminated switch here I am getting confused with the terminology
A 2 pole latching - in this sense - is this is the same as a 2NC or in toggle switch terms DPST??
Any product numbers from farnell or rs would be most grateful - I can;t figure out which reasonablly priced EAO switches I can use
