Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like many people make something very similar except none of them are green. Not that it matters but it would be nice to know the exact one being used.

Cheers

The switch I have is a 2 deck 12 way. Marked Electroswitch #21-0006. I am 99 % sure I got these from UA for one of their preamp compressor rigs.

Johnny1234's pic locating Electroswitch p/n location nulls my thought there might be a number or logo on the front face of the switch (obscured by the proximity of the front panel). But I was thinking Electroswitch. Someone else could have their numbers there.

Back side makes more sense if mfr. wanted them visible.

Dental mirror between inside front panel & switch 'face' & read backwards?

I had to use stainless-steel shim stock for a mirror to check something where a mirror was too thick. Actually looking for cracks, not info, so it worked.

That doesn’t look like any Electroswitch model I’ve seen. I have the catalog. The color looks about right though.

The Electroswitch C2/3 has that straight angle down from the top plane. The switch in the original photo has rounded corners.

Can anyone identify this switch?

Hi Ian,

Just saw this old thread and thought I'd chime in. I'm not sure of the original maker, we bought a giant pile (700x or so) of those switches surplus here in the US when we first started Coil Audio. They were very high quality shorting switch stacks with a nice strong metal bushing and shaft. We tried to find the original maker but never could. Believe the spec sheets were in german if I remember correctly??? They apparently came from a hi end stereo manufacturers' left over production surplus. We used them on all the early PS6 and PS2 coil amps. We switched to Grayhill 71 series when they ran out...

Great to get an answer from someone who really knows. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the picture was from a coil audio product so many thanks for chiming in. Pity there are no more, they looked like a nice alternative to Grayhill 71 series.

Cheers
