capacitor values where do we go from here?

two capacitor values in a unit are no longer available

both caps a radial lytics
500uF/6V and 50uF/35V

Any suggestions as to what values I can sub them with?

Depends on the circuit, doesn't it? But 470uF and 47uF should be close enough in most cases, tolerances with electrolytics are very high anyway.

My thoughts as well but always good to get a second opinion. I usually go for the next value up. So let’s see what I find

560uF / 680uF and 56uF / 68uF are also good replacements, if they can physically fit.

Premium electrolytic caps are maybe +/-20%... cheap electrolytic caps -20/+80%

+/-20% for a 500uF cap is 400-600uF. I wouldn't overthink this 47/470 is 6% low, 56/560 is 12% high

I don't know if I've ever seen a 500 uF in a modern product. I have seen and used lots of 470uF caps.
