Yes, the "usual suspects" (those capacitors).I'm talking about the output cap and mostly about the cap used in series with the gain control device to the ground (just look at the schematic from the other link). That is a large value cap, usually thousands of microfarads so it is an electrolyt. In your preamp that cap do not exist because the problem is solved with the DC servo, and the DC offset circuit.
