Case for G9..too small?

I have a spare housing lying around here that is only 9 inches (about 230mm) deep...

Same case I used for the Gssl's, this one is left over.

I think I can squeeze a G9 into it, though the control board (one of them at least) , ends up very very close to the mainboard, almost directly underneath it.

So, I can make it fit, BUT...

am I asking for any interference problems doing this??? OR, is the case size used for the G9 just a logistical matter of if it can be made to fit ?? thank you !!
 
The most important thing is that you can get the power transformers a decent distance away from the input transformers... So I think your cases will work - but you'll have to try to know for sure.

Yeah, guess I will give it a go, though the tx's will be only 5 inches from the edge of the mainboard, hmmmmmmmmm..

we will see I guess. :grin:
