Anyone ever used these transformers. http://www.edcorusa.com/home.htm. they are cheap and i was wondering how did they sound. Also does anyone know where to source OEP transformers in the US?

I have used some of the Edcor WSM 10k/600 in a preamp output stage. No bad things to say about this transformers.
Farnell has some of the OEPs, so you must be able to order them over Newark.

You must specify at the Newark site that you also want to retrieve special order items if you want to see OEP stuff.
I hear Edcor could be good for output iron, but doesn't have the shielding that you'd want on a mic input transformer.
