Looking at amphenol specs it appears that some connectors used in a tube microphone I looked at are used outside of the rated voltage.
The 8 pin in a high end microphone I saw has about 190V on the B+ wire
A connector that LOOKS like it in the mouser cat is only rated at 160V.
When I built the 80 type microphone I used a 300 V rated connector.
Some of the china tube stuff uses 200VDC B+. What is the voltage rating of a china 7 pin XLR?
Is the voltage rating with or without shrink tubing on the pins inside the connector?
