Hello everybody.
I have mount a CRC board in my GSSL.
Problem : before the board, i have 15 V and 15 V on the secondaries.
After the board, 0 and 0...
Apparently, there's no problems about soldering (i have check...), and it's the good choise of components.
Any idea ?
Thanx.

Transformer is AC voltage in, AC voltage out.
After the board, 0 and 0...
after rectification of the center tapped or series connected transformer secondary AC voltage, the unloaded CRC board output right side pin will read about +21VDC in respect to the center pin 0V reference voltage and left side pin will read about -21VDC in respect to the same 0V reference voltage.
Just change your multimeter for a DC voltage readout.

Thanx ! You've right. It's more near 25 DCV and -25 DCV, but i think it's acceptable...
I didn't read anything about that... but it seems logical.
Should i plug the CRC board at the same place on my GSSL board ? Or should i bypass some components ??

Thanx. I will do that.

Do you have a new GssL board? In that case, there is already a CRC filter implemented. (Seems like a lot of people are adding a redundant stage, because they are not sure what it is other than reading it is  "better", so just checking).

They are not the same. The CRC board addon will give a CRCRCDC for previous revision boards or a CRCRCDCRC for the latest GSSL revision in front of the voltage regulator, your implementation is a CRC in front of the voltage regulator. Just saying.

Bump on an old thread:

Looking at building a couple of channels of these, and was curious if people found the CRC board in front of the new GSSL board to really make a difference, or if the CRC implementation on the new GSSL board was sufficient?  Thanks.
