I've made some Rochelle crystals and would like to make them evolve into a microphone, would any of you have any information or a direction you could point me to?
There's tons of information on rochelle salt crystal microphones in old acoustics texts from Olson and Beranek.
It has high piezoelectric constants, but was long ago replaced by PZT ceramic because it was so hygroscopic.
