Anyone looking to build a D-La2A? I built this up and had it running for a couple of years, tracked a few records with it, loved it big time until one day it lost compression in the left channel... I took it apart and started poking around, figured while I was in there I'd up the 85 deg rated electro caps I'd foolishly used, pulled a trace or 2 so purchased a fresh PCB from Silentarts planning to rebuild it... then got married, moved to another country and it's been sitting in a box ever since.
It's complete but will require new surface level components for the new board. The money caps could definitely be scavenged from the old board, the sockets etc, not sure.
Details:
- 2 x Silentarts pcb - one (faulty), stuffed with a few electro caps missing and a pulled trace or 2, the other PCB is unused.
- the custom Silentarts power xformer
- Edcore WSM I/O xformers, 15k version as recommended by SSLtech
- Drip "opto iso" T4B's that he started producing shortly before he ceased trading. Matched as a pair and also internally on the in and out.
- Sifam AL29 meters with light kits (never installed)
- mix of NOS and new production tubes. All were working fine last I used them. Tubes are not matched, fwiw.
- Phier pots, Davies knobs, Miyata switches, Neutrik jacks
- 2U steel rack case, with vented top panel, from that company in Italy who make the nice rack cases  Al front panel, drilled etc but blank. I have the Frontpanel design file for it somewhere, if required. Spare bottom panel included.
- I'll include a roll of nice shielded balanced hook-up cable (braided) - the mic cable I used for the I/O works fine but looks a bit chunky.
SOLD
Get in touch if you have any questions at all. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
