dbx 202c question about sn

i wonder why is the same serialnumber on 3 of the vca. any suggestions? maybe they're matched??
i'm thinking of doing a ssl clone with this. btw it's a card from an old bbc desk from the early 80's. got some more stuff from that thing; lot's of transformer, cards, psu, ...

could be a volume control card ... Left Centre Right ... three matched VCA's and rear all by itself

no, i don't have the whole console. i only have some modules/cassettes form it. some nice bbc limiters and calrec 1061 eq's:
