You mean DIY discrete VCA's?

no, Im not up to that challenge yet. the compressor has 2 daughter cards, they are actually hybrid circuits, SMD opamps and resistor films deposited directly on the (ceramic) pc board. one is a balanced input, the other is the I-V converter and line driver.

Resuming this old thread

I wanted to ask what do you think about those 202X. Have you ever used them in your GSSL builds?

How they do compare to other models like black or gold can?

Do they need to be calibrated for THD?

But, more for all, would they give a sonic improvement over the single THAT 2180 i'm using now? Or the sound will be the same
