Dead Neumann TLM103

Hello guys,

an old friend of mine gifted me his old and dead Neumann TLM103, what kind of projects can I make with it?

He’s not passing audio and I can’t say if it’s capsule related or circuit, but capsule seems a little bit strange.

Suggestions?

Your capsule has been damaged, because it lacks the gold-plated film, you can replace the cheap universal K87 capsule, or you can buy the 797 audio capsule, or you can ask someone who has the ability to help you repair the capsule. I am the person who has the ability, but we are too far away, I come from China, and I have various types of capsules

That circuit is optimized for the K103 capsule, if you use a random K67 the mic will be too bright. There are used K103 capsules sometimes in ebay or you can try a "flat" k67 from 3u audio. There should be also some cheap and flatter k67 capsules in alibaba but I never tried them.
