Digidesign Session8 use

Hi all!

I have Session 8 rack box wich is useless for me, because I have no ISA in my comuter enymore. But I have an idea to get as much as I can from boards in this rack device. I have noticed, that I can use preamps based on SSM2017 with analog devices noiseless switch to line input. But if somebody have done with this and could send me some info about it.. schematics or sth.. it would be helpfull.

Does anyboy have some idea what can I use it for?

At the moment I'm guitar tube amplier maker.. no time at the moment... but I'm reading carefuly as many posts I can.. :-]

But firrst of all I have problems with making rack boxes, expecialy good looking texts on it..

I plan to build some preamp with bypased compressor/limiter. It may be only preamp at the beggining, but now I haven't decided on what part it should be - transistors or tubes. With tubes I have a headache because of transformets... but mayby I will put some quesions on this fabulous forum!
