Hi Folks,

Has anybody got any tips on building a decent pop filter.  All i have is the $10 ones from the local music store and if there's a good way of diy'ing a higher quality one then I'd love to hear your thoughts?

Embroidery hoop plus the toe from Sheer Energy pantyhose. The brand is important -- heavier varieties of pantyhose absorb high frequencies too much.

If you have a lady client in the studio, you can ask her to take off her panty-hose.

in a real pinch use some really nasty dirty well-used she-boy-crotchless tight thingy's. might actually keep them from deep-throating the mic and keeping their distance. Depending on the talent of course. C12 usually preferred over U47 in this application.

Cheers,
jb
