So i'm planing of making a cheep DIY ribbon mic, you may have seen my other thread on questions,  but before i buy all the parts i just want someone to check my simple schismatic so all the wiring is right and suggest improvements. If they are right i plan to make a step by step guide on how i did it from the ribbon assembly to hopefully the shell. Anyway the "schematic"  should be attached.
Thanks :)

Secondary CT shouldn't be used, just connected to pin 2 and 3 of the xlr. Only shields to pin 1.

The wires on both sides of the capsule is used for humbacking, they should both be connected together to the transformer. Also is a good idea to connect it to the chasis to avoid it from building a charge.

The wire from the "top" of the ribbon must go down BOTH sides, to create a symmetrical circuit which will not catch so much hum.

All non-ribbon parts connect together to the XLR "ground" pin, though this may not be critical for a ribbon mike for experimental use.

The transformer secondary CT should NOT be connected. (Yes, RCA did, 75 years ago, for ribbons working directly under high-power transmitter towers. With the rise of Phantom power and the demise of radio, this connection is more dangerous than useful.)
