DK-Audio Display (MSD550)

Hello there,

again I'm in the need for a replacement-display. This time it's for a DK-Audio MSD550 Meter. The display is a 320*240 dot Model "Citizen G324 IH". Neither could I find one yet nor find the datasheet. There should be chances for other displays to match I guess.. Does anyone have an idea where to get this display or which display would work instead? Or any other ideas?

Oh the problem is: The display only shows 3 black lines and that's it - the rest is blank.

The important thing would be to figure out what interface the LCD uses - replacements are possible only if you know exactly what you need.

Please let us know if you find a solution - I know of a couple of meters that are developing lcd problems..

Right, that's why I thought the datasheet would come in very handy. I think somewhere I read something about a 4-bit-Interface but that's it. I will continue my search and keep you updated!

O.K. things are going slowly, but I have found a datasheet that could match. First I thought the model-number was "G324 IH" or "G324 LH", not really easy to read, but it could also be "G324 1H"... Well the data I found in the following datasheet match with the one in the DK-Audio (at least these I am able to compare...):

So if anyone has ideas where to get the display or wich other displays could fit in here, please help!

Ah and one further question: I never saw that Meter work: What colour is it originally?

Monochrome LCD, white backlight I think..

Ah, o.k. If this might help: The controllers on the board are Hitachi 4*HD66204F and 3*HD66205F. I guess the ones for lines and the others for rows?!...
