Does anyone recognize this (handheld dynamic) mic? I can't place it?

Haha, no it's all good. I checked Coutant right after posting. Which I should have done before posting. Found my answer and decided not to bug people with a pointless question that the web could answer.

It's OK though. This thread will quickly sink to the bottom of the ocean until someone searches groupDIY for D202.

It's just bad that I kind of want one now. (A D202.) :p

I still have one of those -- and both elements still work, which is not always the case!
Not a bad sounding mic.... very 'neutral'

Had one of those back in the 90s. Hard to forget the sintered head-basket.
Might still be in my broken mic box for all I know.

I feel like I can recognize most mics on sight. But I don't recognize this. Anyone?

As others have posted.....it's an AKG D-202. I used to have at least 2 of those mics back in 1967 and 1968 when I was first starting out recording psychedelic bands "LIVE" in nightclubs back then!!! I had an AMPEX 602 recorder with an AMPEX MX-10 mixer back then. And, I even - STILL - have those tapes!!! GROOVY!!!
