Dual Pultec

Hi,

After finishing my dual 1176, Im considering future builds which will include a PTP La2a as well as a dual pultec.  I've been researching options and the purusha dual pultec seems like a nice option in a 2ru space. Given that it has some design modifications particularly the makeup gain, I was wondering how well it captures the pultec sound. Has anyone been able to build something along the same lines but with the original valve output section? I was thinking about the possibility of the recproaudio ptp build with 2 filter sections in a purusha dual case.....

I built a dual Pultec using turret boards just from plain schematics. It's not rocket sience. Parts are available through the usual online shops. I got my trannies directly from Sowter. I designed my own front panel.

Unfortunately I cannot compare to an original unit, but I think it must be very close, since it's the original circuit and almost original parts.
