Hello, I want to build a passive equalizer with a single sweepable frequency and high Q that I can move around and cut annoying frequencies. The thing is I'm a newbie and I got just some soldering skills (not electronic knowledge), so I can't understand if there's a project on the forum and say, that's a schematic for me  :(

If there's any please notify me, and if not could you help me with it?
Good news is I got a friend that can help me on the building if i have the schem.

Passive and sweepable do not usually go together, especially with high Q. In a passive EQ, a resonant type EQ (one with Q) means using an inductor and a capacitor. To make this sweepable therefore means having a variable capacitor or inductor (both if you want the Q to remain constant) neither of which is generally available. That's why most passive EQs have switched rather than sweepable frequencies.

Cheers
