ECC81 on G9?

Hello everyone,

I'm a new kid on the block and I'm not that much experienced with tube pre-amps, but I love them! My question is: The G9 uses ECC82 but I have abt. five or six NOS ECC81 from Valvo at home. Can I use them also, maybe with slide modifications on the board?

Not really, if you want specified performance.

But go ahead and experiment - you may like the results. The ECC81 is directly pin compatible with ECC82..
