ditch the aux 240 pri wind, replace the #23 with a single section of #21, two less leads mean more space for the breakout,

yellow vinylglass sleaving over 6.3 leads saves 3 splices and thus leaves more space between leads under the 20 mil Nomex wrapper,  fired it up, voltages all good, 6.3 wind measures 6.18 in circuit with 120 VAC line, we used #20 instead of #16 to drop it down a bit with DCR, only 12 turns so no current problems with the 1.03 Amp rating of the #20, preamp tubes run on the rectified 16 volt wind so all we have to do is heat a pair of KT88's.

we also change the crazy excessive #16 preamp heater wind to #21 and we have enuff space to do both winds on 1 layer which saves build and insulation and tape and labor, thinner heater winds mean easier to wind and less trauma on underlying sections,
