Juts for the inspiration, here is my latest. The acrylic tube will be cut after oven conditioning the silicone, and the saddle part with a brass rod glued into the hole. Inside the part there are PCB manufactured disks with several holes, which make the whole thing to hold firmly together. (silicone does not chemically bind to anything, so the structures relies on other means)
