EMT 240

Hi,
I have an EMT 240 sitting around and gathering dust. I am planning to sell it. Does anyone know if it is better to sell it as is, or remove the amplifiers and sell them seperately?
Anyone know how much it is worth?
I'v seen some prices on soundgas etc, but they have an old listing, and are sold.

You’re welcome. For me it is such a shame to see old equipment gutted. There are exceptions like an old recording desk but even that stuff can be a hassle as you are left with stuff that ends up in e-waste. Sell it while, vintage is in and someone will buy it.

ok, thanks. Any idea what it's worth? I'v seen really high prices, but that's old postings.

Hello agust75,

If you sale your EMT240, be very careful while moving it.
It is MANDATORY to block the soundproofed container inside the chassis that contains the gold foil mechanism, to cancel ANY movement inside the box.
Top to bottom and side to side.
Otherwise your EMT240 will be destroyed.
