EMT NoisEx (137A)

Hi all,

Got two of these units on the bench, but basically no information about them. They were given to me by a retired radio employee.

Perhaps someone can shed some light?

I believe they were marketed at the same time as Dolby A.

They're stuffed with pretty transformers, and the radio guy said they're in good working condition, but I don't need the units as-is.

Any input appreciated.

Seems to be mid 60's units. I'll post some gutshots tonight.
If I'm not mistaken (I only checked them very briefly) they are fitted with EMT/Klangfilm T42 input transformers.

Perhaps one could use them for some other purpose...

Some form of interstage transformer?

The Klangfilm (?) input transformers. No DCR measurements done, but soon.
Finding a schematic doesn't seem very likely.  :'(
