I would try to find axial. I refuse to use radials in place of axials (so far). Last time I looked there would good illinois capacitor axials. Look up 228TTA050M on Mouser for example. I also see them on Amazon of all places.

RS Components had a good selection of axials last time I checked. I usually get Vishay, the blue color looks good in vintage gear and they're good quality. 2200 or 4700 should work fine for PS purposes.
