Hello..I know long ago there was some problems with a couple of  stock caps ( bad from Emu) that hindered this unit powerless and with no audio. I also read where someone decided to do some mods while they were replacing the bad caps inside the Dock that gave better results afterwards..Long shot but anyone up here know anything about this mod/actually perform this mod themselves..?

Yes, I had problem with the phantom power and replaced the two caps mentioned in Badcaps.net thread:
http://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10362

That didn't help but replacing also the third one (200 uf/35V I think) close the two and the transformer finally did it (haven't tried the interface yet with the most power hungry mics, though).

Lately I've got problems with failing MOSFET's in channel outputs, also some input channel has gone out of balance a little bit (other phase is less sensitive).

Btw. Does anyone know how the mic pre is implemented? I can't see there any transformers, just regular opamps. Must be some kind of instrumentation amplifier topology job, not TF "zero field" design.
