Hey! Thanks for the reply! I had a look at their store but it looks like they only have the electret capsules from JLI, not the true condenser ones like the tsc-1 and tsc-2.
Tsc 1 and tsc 2 are actually Takstar manufactured capsules. I don't know if you are in hurry but you can contact them directly.
I think the TSC-1 and TSC-2 are just re-badged 'standard' K.67 Chinese clones...
Oh, thats interesting. The guy from the instructables was saying they were made by Transound, which doesn't sell to privates. I'm not in a hurry so I could definitely contact them directly.
Whats your experience with those? I heard aliexpress can be a bit of a hit or miss.

Worst thing is the long delivery times - although you can sometimes speed those up by paying a little more for alternative shipping.
Buying cheaper Chinese LDC mic capsules is always a bit of a lottery. As I say, I've been quite pleased with the edge terminated ones I linked to above.

Yes, the drums are digital -- in fact it all is - apart from the vocals and guitar...... Made on Reaper with a Yamaha MOX and YC61.
Mics are RF mics made from these notes: DIY RF Condenser Microphone ... using, as I say, the edge terminated capsules I linked to above ...

Nope, TSC-1 and 2 are produced by Takstar. Exceprional consistency, not just another generic capsule. Here are some of my measurements of these. Jules has clearly some kind of business agreement with Transound, so i gues ndaa. But these are 100% produced by Takstar. They are also found in Akg Perception mics.

Anyone have a link to a double sided version? I can never tell with what's what with AliExpress capsules. Also have you measured this one? Or is it the same as most edge terminated ones from on there?
I've only measured the capacitive value which - at c. 65pF - makes it ideal to use with my RF mic circuit...
