Hello all, forgive my less-than-proficient understanding of these things, but trust the insight of those here!
I am looking at a portable ENG mixer than has a magnetic switch for pan positions of L/C/R. I am yet to get the scehmatics, and hear back from the manufacturer, but I would love to find a way to make these variable pans. I assume this would need an external box with the pots. Other than simply wiring, what other components are advisable to include? I even think some switches that would place the position of a channel at 25/75 would be really useful (maybe preferable), so something like this:
L > L (100%)
C > new switch > 50% L, C, 50% R *or* variable L>R
R > R (100%)
What are you initial thoughts?
