Anyone know the history of the Fairchild faceplates? I've seen the 670 with all white lettering as well as with red accents and logo. 660s seem to have red logos and accents. Anyone know deets?
This pic of the cutting room is from "history of recording" which says it was late 60s and white lettering.
Also is the Brownish look of the 660 just something in the early paint that oxidized? Capitol records' 670 looks like this too and has red lettering.
