this time it is a Fender solid state bass amp,

sounds pretty good, noisy controls and input jacks,

looks like we are going ti have to operate,  :p

these circuit board pots just don't cut it,

so we are going to hard wire in some big pots,

why pay 9.99 plus shipping for a Fender pot that will break again?

Radio Shack has a good sounding pot with a nice feel for 3.49,
no wait, no ship$$,

barely fits but will last a lot longer,

using 100K instead of 50K, so we make R7 opamp input resistor 10K instead of 4.7 K so we don't blow up, gain is 10, 50K/4.7K = approx 100K/10K
