I wouldn't push it continuously (mostly dynamic classical music & movies at nominal 85spl in a 500m^3 studio), but say I want to use a parametric EQ (PEQ) to extend within reason a pair of 18in SW with the response shown at 1w to approach an f3 of ~30Hz, where they are now down 10dB with an f3 around 40. I know, that’s ~6dB (4x) the power, which I have available (Crown XTi3000), and the drivers (JBL 2268) each can handle 1.6kw. These issues aside, what frequency and Q settings on the PEQ do you reckon would flatten this curve?
