focusrite 2i2 trx output moded

there are 4 files. all normalized to 0db and exported to 24/48
(Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley is my usual test song)

• original itunes mp3 exported direct from cubase
• lynx aurora loopback
• focusrite 2i2 output recorded direct to lynx aurora inputs
• focusrite 2i2 trx mod output recorded direct to aurora inputs

current trx are Edcor WSM 10k/10k

i desoldered the 1/4 " output jacks from the PCB, and connected trx outputs to them.

I'll have to check the sound files later... I have a 2i2 in pieces currently (problem in the power supply; I fixed the first part that had blown out and now the part-heating-up moved down the chain to closer to wherever the real root cause is...)

I like the 1/4" cables with alligator clips in the upper left!  I've totally recorded like that in the past when stuck without the cables/adaptors I needed.

i dont hear much difference like day and night at all,
i am getting older, and my hearing is not as good as use to be!

may worth the doing the upgrade/mod on 8 channel lynx with Jensens , and sum OTB,
but i dont hear any benefit on 2 channel 2i2 with Edcors!
