Hi Iain,

Any chance you can give me access to the handbook for sound engineers? Would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Thank you so much, Ive heard about this book for so long and being a sound engineer, I could never afford a proper copy.

Just looking at the first few pages makes me laugh... some nerdy authors of the book!!!! Steve Dove and doug fearn are the only 2 I would, by appearance, guess have ever been in a session! (at least any Ive been in)

again thanks for the effort and I do apologize for "labeleing" of the authors!

I think one of the best parts of the book is Steve's short biography in those first pages.

His experience is wide-ranging all right. I especially enjoyed his tales (not in the aforementioned bio) of working as a roadie for George Clinton (who employed all white guys for those jobs  ). Trombipulation indeed!

 Yeah, Steve has been around. Did you know him when he worked with Harmon Automotive? Last I heard he was up in PA.

He actually never worked directly for automotive, although when he was in Northridge his cubicle was right down the hall from mine, and I did do the car stuff myself at that time. They hired him to design a new line of high-power amps for Pro, then (in the time-honored Harmanic fashion) pulled the plug on the project.
