hi, I have a faulty frontier alphatrack here that needs repairing,
I think it's the motor that has gone on the fader, I've opened it up and it looks like an alpha 100k sliding potentiometer but currently I can't find an exact match replacement,
for the time being I've ordered another frontier alphatrack because I rely on it heavily in my studio,
is this worth repairing?
what happened was it started making a weird noise then the fader stopped moving, ideally I'd like to repair it because I like a challenge, it has been working in my studio for 14 years! so not a bad life, amazed it has lasted this long really.
