Hi everyone I started this project some years ago and never finished it, now im starting my master's program and wont have any time to do finish it so it has to go.
Im selling a pair of contiguous serial number Spectrasonics 110 preamps with new Sprague Atom capacitors, Ive tested this pre boards and they work properly. I also designed and built a custom rack for the pre-amps, the rack was made by Par-metal and the engraving was beautifully done by Front Panel Express.
Im including the following:
- 2x Spectrasonics 110 Preamp boards with Sprague Atom caps, serial numbers: 064301 and 064302
- 2x Gold plated EDAC card-edge connectors
- 2x Triad-Utrad A-67J MIC input transformers, these can be set 600:600 or 150:150 or any combination of the above, AFIK these are the ones Spectrasonics originally used for their preamps. I havent tested these!
but they should be ok
- 2x Custom boards for gain select
- 1 Rotary switch (you still need an extra one)
- 1 Five fish studios Power supply with adjustable +/- rails plus phantom power.
- 1 Toroidal transformer for the PSU
- 1 Custom vented rack with engravings and white in-fill (some leters only)
- 4 Gold Plated Neutrik XLR connectors (2 male, 2 female)
- 1 American AC Inlet
- 1 Fuse holder
What you still probably need:
1 rotary switch for gain select
2 Polarity flip switches
2 attenuator boards, plus rotary switches (you may use the ones sold by JLM Audio or make your own: http://www.uneeda-audio.com/pads/ )
1 on/off rotary switch
1 LED indicator
2x 1:1 output transformers of your preference
Cables, knobs, etc...
The rack has been in storage for the last 3-4 years and there are some minor scratches on the top and bottom, also there are 2 tiny scratches on the front panel, please look at the pics!
