G1176 loud feedback !Help

Hi! My frist post.
just finished assembling this unit. All voltages seem correct. The problem is that when I raise the input gain a strong feedback came in. Should I use shielded cables as show in the schemati ? Thanks in advance?

I would guess if it's in the schematic then yes???
