Hi all,
I am a new owner of a Gates M-5138.
From a quick glance, my tech suggested that the input of the M-5233 is unbalanced and that the output is balanced. Can this be confirmed?
Secondly, in describing the input he said, “[It] is wired unbalanced but could be balanced if ground link removed.”
Would this process be as simple as that? Would there be any negative repercussions to doing this? I have found what I believe to be that link.
I have attached the schematic and a photo of what I believe is that link. Seems pretty obvious.
