See attached picture. Is this okay? I need to replace the cap as it is leaking. So I can put it back the right way if it matters.

W Walter66 Well-known member Joined Jul 13, 2020 Messages 197 Jan 25, 2024 #2 Well, R50 drops voltage down by 40V. Otherwise the circuit would see 275V instead of 235V, which is original. I wouldn't bypass this filter resistor.
