I have a spare mv692 amp and a still functioning m93 capsule and would like to try to squeeze a tube headamp into that body.
For obvious reasons I'm going with a (sub)mini tube, a 5840 perhaps.
The nickel capsules need 40V polarisation voltage if I'm not mistaken - do you think there's a chance to mess with the G7 schematic?
E.g., get rid of remote pattern selection of course and yada yada and squeeze the rest into the small 692 body?
I will either use the stock transformer rewired or order a new small one, ha ha...
