Selling a pair of Melcor GME-20 EQ (precursor of API) in a custom wooden case with PSU (220-240V) and XLR i/o connections in working condition and ready to use.
Each module uses a pair of venerable 1731 DOA (Discrete Operational Amplifier). During restoration process we replaced defective original 1731 with Jeff Steiger's CAPI 1731 clones. No audible difference against original ones.
It sounds great on everything from kick, snare, drum kits, bass, guitars (electric and acoustic), vocals, brass...Even without boosting nor cutting it adds some weight to everything passing through them. I've used on stereo tracks as well without any imbalance in level nor frequency response.
Don't miss them. They rarely pop up for selling and when they do they usually go for 600-700$ each module!
