Green pre inquiry.....

I ordered the PCB's for this project because I'm a complete newbie and was told to start with this. Anyway, I read some comparisons to Mackie pres and some to Amek pres. That is a huge difference....if high end components are used...is there a pre that resembles the Green pre in sound?

when i'll have finished my green preamp i will do some comparisons with my motu 828's preamps and with the m-audio octane.

i hope i will do the recordings sunday...

Isnt the green based on a focuswright design?

Hey Dave,

The Green is based around the Am*ek Mo*zart Pre design, with enhancements. The Mo*zart is similar to to the Focu*srite Green Pre in topology, but still rather different in sound, however subtly.

It is actually based on the RN version of the above console that was designed by N*ve himself.

I think you will not be disapointed. When comparing these pres to my old digi 002 pres, the bass response was far better and deeper.
