o.k. this topic has come up once in a while but I cannot find a direct link to anything. Yes mcmaster carr has mesh wire but which one is good. Brass is obvious but what size.  direct link's would be appreciated.

MCMaster  doesn't seem to have the fine Brass mesh tough, the one found on all Mic headbaskets, maybe can get some steel ones??

EDIT: sorry i just checked and they sem to carry those as well now, i was talking about 30 x 30 or 40 x 40 type ones....

for the price you could still buy a couple of  different 12" cut ones and see which one fits the best, cool to have MC Master in US, in France it's kind of a PITA to get those in small quantity

i have some i used on my G7 w/peluso c12. two layer. (i ended up only using onelayer of themoreopoen mesh) dont recall the opening ratio or sizes. id be happy to send you enough for a mic or 2? 3? . e-mail if interested.
